She primarily uses intaglio and lithography printmaking to convey the profound connection between artistic expression and our environment. Her prints, though initially appearing sombre, unfold as visual interpretations of decay within post-industrial landscapes; a closer examination reveals a narrative of life re-emerging in the ruins, as nature resiliently reclaims desolate wastelands, giving rise to new ecosystems. </p><p>​ </p><p>Jemma is drawn to monumental landscapes, particularly mountains, seeking to capture their imposing force and inherent beauty.
