We will draw Hettie the African Pygmy Hedgehog, Gloria the Chinchilla, Tommy the Lesser Tenrec, Lenny the Dupraisi, as well as Myrtle and Gizmo the Geckos and some Giant Snails too! Each of these animals has evolved super senses like acute hearing, a sensitive nose or big eyes to make them perfectly adapted to life in the dark. We will hear all about these animals and their lives in the dark, as well as learning about the conservation or welfare issues affecting their species. </p><p></p><p>While we draw, there will be plenty of time for any questions that you have. We will study the anatomical features of each species in turn, focusing on capturing all of their fascinating evolutionary adaptations on the page.  </p><p> </p><p>Animal welfare is at the heart of everything done at Wild Life Drawing. They are a small team of animal lovers who are dedicated to conservation, and they strive to make each of our classes a positive experience for the animals drawn. Wild Life Drawing only work with expert animal handlers who treat their animals with care, love and respect. All levels of experience are welcome and drawing tips and guidance will be provided throughout the session. We will provide a range of art materials, paper and drawing boards for you to use, so no need to bring anything along (but you&#39;re welcome to bring along your own kit if you&#39;d like).  Easels, padded &amp; backed chairs, drawing boards and small tables are all provided on a first come-first served basis.   </p><p>  </p><h2>Getting to the studio  </h2><p>Approach New England House from the New England Street side of the building and walk up to the locked blue double doors next to the sign for the ‘Building Manager’s Office’. Wait to be let in or call the number on the door for entry - the studio is on level 5, Unit 1 South, just knock and walk in.
