In this all-day untutored life drawing class you’ll have the chance to work from one sustained pose over the course of the whole day. The pose will be repeated again the following day and you are welcome to either book for both days, or just one as you prefer. The session is open to all abilities & levels of experience and there will be a session leader on hand to offer help and informal feedback. Masks are optional for this session, but you’ll need to confirm that you’ve had a negative LFD test in the last 3 days before coming along to the session.
The session will start at 10am and you are welcome to arrive from 9:45 – if you are not able to take an LFD test before the session please email us before hand and we will arrange for you to have one on arrival. When you arrive at New England House you’ll need to come to the main doors next to the Building Managers Office on Level 3 and call the number on the door to be admitted - please note that you’ll need to wear a mask at all times in the corridors of New England House. Once you’re at the session you’ll need to show a digital or printed receipt as proof of booking, then you’re ready to go! The unclothed model will hold a single long pose all day, with short tea breaks and a 1 hour lunch break half way through – the same pose will be the next day. Drawing boards, chairs and easels will be provided and you'll need to bring your own drawing or painting materials along.
