In Person Life Drawing (Masked, Drop in)

Come join us for a friendly and relaxed untutored life drawing class in our Brighton studio! The session is open to all abilities & levels of experience and there will be a session leader on hand to offer any help you need. You can’t attend the session with a cold, flu or covid so if you’re not feeling well, just get in touch for a refund or take a look at our online alternatives. Everybody who comes along is asked to wear a facemask to protect the health and income of our freelance tutors and models. We recommend wearing a proper FFP2 mask or surgical mask for greater efficacy and comfort, not a cloth mask. If you can’t wear a face mask, please get in touch before booking.  

How will it work?  

When you arrive at New England House on the New England Street side you’ll need to take the lift or stairs to Level 5, where you will find the studio on the South side of the building. Once you’re at the session you’ll need to either show a receipt as proof of booking, or pay by card during the tea break – we can’t accept cash. The unclothed model will hold a series of short poses, two 15-minute poses and a final 45-minute pose, with a short tea break half way through - attendees will be able to briefly remove masks while drinking. Drawing boards, chairs and easels will be provided along with free drawing materials; paper is available to buy on the day from the in-studio shop. 

Safety information 

When our staff get sick, they lose work outside of Draw. To protect them and everybody who comes drawing from getting ill we have: 

• Monitored ventilation  
• Air purification with HEPA filters 
• Free masks & hand sanitiser  
• Full sick pay for our freelance staff 
• A strict no-attendance-if-ill policy 

Cost 

This session costs £12, or £9 for students & Patreon supporters. If you can’t afford to come to the session, please get in touch and we will find a way to help. You can attend this session for free with a valid Drawing Pass.
