Learn the fundamentals of drawing heads and faces with artist Lancelot Richardson! Over the course of this hands-one two-day workshop Lancelot will take you through a series of exercises, tutorials and demonstrations to increase your confidence tackling the portrait. Involving plenty of personal feedback this rigorous weekend workshop is suitable for complete beginners and more experienced artists hoping to refresh their drawing skills.
The session will start at 10am and you are welcome to arrive from 9:45am. When you arrive at New England House you’ll need to come to the main doors next to the Building Managers Office on Level 3 and call the number provided in your booking email to get access. Once you’re at the session you’ll need to show a digital or printed receipt as proof of booking, then you’re ready to go. All materials and equipment will be provided – you’ll be working from a model all weekend and there will be a lunch break half way through the day – you are welcome to bring a packed lunch, or to pop to the nearby Sainsbury’s, or a café on London road.
