Olivia Hancock

Olivia is an artist and Draw session leader - she runs the Thursday Mixed Pose life class and teaches the popular 'Life Drawing in Abstraction' workshops.

What Olivia has to say about her work:

"I’ve been involved with Draw since 2016 as model, artist, facilitator and tutor. I grew up with an artist mother so art was not for certain people, it was something you just did. There was no ‘right’ or ‘wrong’ way of doing it. I believe that everyone can draw, everyone has the right to and a person who is knowledgeable about art is simply a person who loves it. No one can give you the magic formula for ‘making art’ or ‘being an artist’. My job as a teacher is to support students while making them aware of the things they already possess and believe what their eyes are telling them.
