Bring your pencils and sketchbooks outside, and come out to draw as part of Urban Sketchers Brighton x Urban Sketching Club! Draw is delighted to partner up with Urban Sketchers Brighton to explore and sketch in different locations in and around Brighton.
This is a relaxed, untutored session that is free to attend and everybody is welcome to come and draw with us, regardless of ability or past experience. This is a great opportunity to meet and draw with a group of likeminded artists while drawing urban environments and the people in them. You do not have to book for this session - it is totally fine to just turn up and join in! For first timers and those who’d like to say hi before getting stuck into sketching, there will be a short briefing at 10.30am at the meeting point. Alternatively you can get stuck into sketching wherever you like, and meet us at back at the meeting point at 12.30pm for the throwdown to share our sketches.
24th Oct - Shoreham Port, Southwick, Brighton (meeting point at Port Kitchen, Adur Dock, 104 Albion Street, Southwick BN42 4DP) what3words ///sleepy.pink.reap
Bring your own materials - some basic kit is provided as a back-up if you don’t have anything. You are welcome to use any materials you like. Feel free to bring folding chairs or easels if you need them.
The sessions are free to attend and are funded by the Draw Patreon. If you like coming along and want to support the sessions to continue, why not become a supporter by signing up to the Draw Patreon from just £4+VAT per month. You’ll get the in-person concessionary rate, plus Patreons get tiered access to a wealth of resources including our extensive artist’s photo reference library, live online life drawing & portrait drawing classes, online recorded courses and much more.
