Urban Sketching Club

Bring your pencils and sketchbooks outside come out to draw at our Urban Sketching Club! Each month we will be exploring a different location in Brighton.

This is a relaxed, untutored session that is free to attend and everybody is welcome to come and draw with us, regardless of ability or past experience. The monthly sketching club provides is a good opportunity to meet and draw with a group of likeminded artists while drawing urban environments and the people in them. You do not have to book for this session - it is totally fine to just turn up and join in!

We will meet up at 10am and draw in the area until 12.30pm; you are welcome to arrive late, leave early, or stick around for longer!

Dyke Road Park - meet outside Dyke Road Park cafe, Tea Chalet, Dyke Rd, Brighton and Hove, Hove BN3 6EH

(Wet weather option) The Booth Museum, 194 Dyke Rd, Brighton and Hove, Brighton BN1 5AA

What You Need to Bring

Bring your own materials - some basic kit is provided as a back-up if you don’t have anything. You are welcome to use any materials you like. Feel free to bring folding chairs or easels if you need them.
